Zainab Azumi

Zainab Azumi Muntari is a Ghanaian entrepreneur, tourism innovator, and ecosystem builder committed to transforming Africa’s travel, entrepreneurship, and cultural landscapes through sustainable partnerships and empowerment programs. Zainab serves as the Founder and Chairperson of the Sixth African Region Initiatives (SARI), a social enterprise driving Africa’s redefinition in global tourism and economic participation. Through SARI, she champions diaspora engagement, sustainable investment, and innovation in tourism and entrepreneurship. Her organization spearheaded the Africa Tourism Renaissance Conference (September 2025) and launched the SARI Enterprise Empowerment Program to capacitate tourism-adjacent startups. Her leadership and impact have been recognized across Africa and beyond. She has spoken at the 7th Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit (Johannesburg, 2025), selected delegate-UN Tourism Regional Forum on Gastronomy Tourism for Africa (Arusha, 2025), and several international events, including speaking at the Diaspora Conference (Houston, USA) and the Leadership Forum (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia). In 2025, she was named among the Forty Under 40 Nominees and the Entrepreneurs of Impact Top 48, and received the Global Leadership Award by Edutourism for Her Work on Unity. Zainab A. Muntari is a graduate of several leadership programs, including the Wedu Changemakers and Leadership Asia Cohort (2022) and the Kectil Leadership Program USA (2019). She brings a multi-sectoral understanding of tourism, digital transformation, and SME development.

Regina Amadi -Njoku

Regina Amadi -Njoku is an author, a diplomat, speaker, lecturer, and mentor. She was the first woman to be appointed as an Assistant Director General and Regional Director for Africa at the International Labour Organization (ILO) with the rank of the United Nations Assistant Secretary General (UNASG) in 2000. She worked as a Project Coordinator at the World Bank; and served as Regional Programme Director of West Africa for the United Nations Fund for Women (UNIFEM), now UN Women. Amadi-Njoku also worked in the public service of her country, Nigeria, and in private sector companies in the United States of America (USA). She lectured at Howard University in the USA and served as the Deputy Director of Colloquium at FESTAC ‘77 held in Lagos Nigeria in 1977. She is a recipient of several honors and awards, notable among them are the prestigious African Achievers Award for Excellence in Leadership in 2020 and the 2013 La Palmares award for Gender Advocacy from Africa Femmes Performantes. Ms. Amadi-Njoku served and still serves on the boards of several institutions, like the Coca Cola Advisory Board, Atlanta, USA, Southeast Regional Economic and Development Corporation (SEREDEC) Nigeria; Advisory Board of Angie Brooks International Centre (ABIC), Liberia; Member Eminent African Women Group, who monitor elections in African countries; Black Professionals in International Affairs (BPIA) USA; Member, Fem-Wise, African Union, Addis Abeba, Ethiopia; and Member. Board of Trustees, Lady Mechanic Initiative (LMI), Lagos, Nigeria. Member, Board of trustees African International Documentary Festival Foundation (AFIDFF). She is the Chairperson of the Ajoba Foundation board of trustees and Board of Trustees of Nkata Ndi Inyom Igbo (NNII), a global development organization of Igbo women of Nigeria. Ms. Amadi-Njoku holds a License degree in French, Linguistics and Sociology from Lovanium University, Kinshasa, Zaire, now DRC, 1968. She has a Certificate in Cross-cultural Development, UNESCO, Paris, 1980; a diploma in Management, Administrative College of Nigeria (ASCON), Badagry, 1984. She took postgraduate courses in Development Management, Southeast University, Washington DC. 1986, and UN work-related courses in Leadership, Labour policies, Diplomacy, Gender, and Enterprise Development. She is perfectly bilingual in English and French and has working knowledge of Spanish. Ms. Amadi Njoku has written and published extensively on matters related to culture, development, labour, and gender.

Humaima Abdul-Rahman

Humaima Abdul-Rahman is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG). She serves as an Assistant Director of Audit at an auditing firm, where she plays a key leadership role in conducting audit assignments. Including but not limited to leading teams to evaluate financial systems, strengthening internal controls, and mitigating the risks of fraud and misappropriation within organizations. Humaima holds membership in the Institute of Certified Business Analysts and Consultants. In addition, she possesses a Post-Chartered Diploma in Forensic Audit, further enhancing her expertise in financial oversight and fraud detection. She also serves on the board of the Sixth African Region Initiatives Ltd (SARI) as the Finance & Investment Lead. Humaima pursued her higher education at the Islamic University College, Ghana, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Banking and Finance. With a deep passion for business and management, she furthered her studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), earning a Commonwealth Master of Business Administration (CMBA) degree. Humaima Abdul Rahman’s career reflects her commitment to excellence, integrity, and professional growth. Through her work, she continues to contribute significantly to the field of auditing and financial management in Ghana.

Bisi Ademulegun is the founder of Serenity Farms Foundation Ghana. She is a visionary and solutionist with a unique blend of creative and technical skills. With a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television from the University of California, Los Angeles’s renowned program, and over 15 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, she has honed a rare combination of storytelling and entrepreneurial acumen. Now, she’s using that expertise to take on a bold new challenge: sustainable farming. Deeply committed to soil health, seed sovereignty, and environmental regeneration, she has pivoted toward African agriculture with a mission to encourage more women to return to the land through climate-smart and sustainable practices.

Professor Kobby Mensah

Professor Kobby Mensah is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Development Company Ltd (GTDC), which is the commercial arm of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts of Ghana. Kobby is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, University of Ghana Business School. His areas of expertise include Tourism Marketing and Political Marketing. Kobby serves as the Coordinator for the Marketing and Communications unit of UGBS and has been in this position for close to 10 years, responsible for managing and maintaining a strong UGBS brand. Kobby’s agility in introducing new ways of doing things led to the establishment of the Destination Legon Tourism Marketing Exhibition project, which is a practice-based part of the Hospitality and Tourism Marketing course. Kobby Mensah is one of the leading academic voices in Tourism. He recently spoke on Technology and MICE at the just-ended Meetings Africa in Johannesburg. Previous platforms are the African Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF), South Africa, Ghana Economic Forum, Accra. Kobby has been a regular resource to Brand South Africa and the University of South Africa (UNISA), offering insight on Pan African brand identity.

Baba Adam

Baba Adam is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with strong experience in accounting and business administration. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting major), a Diploma in Business Studies, a Royal Society of Arts (RSA Stage 1) certificate, the Ghana Business Certificate Examination (GBCE), and a Diploma in Islamic Studies. His academic training was obtained from the Islamic University College, Ghana, Emit Commercial Institute, and Ahlul-Bait Islamic Teacher Training Institute, Accra. After completing his Diploma in Business Studies at Emit Commercial Institute, Baba Adam began his career as a community teacher at Nuriya D/A Primary and JHS Islamic School in Awutu Bawjiase. His professional journey includes roles with the Ghana Statistical Service as an Accounts Administrator, where he participated as a Field Enumerator for the Integrated Business Establishment Survey (IBES 2015) and as a Field Lister for the Ghana Living Standards Survey (GLSS 7) in the Upper East Region. He also served as a Marketing Coordinator with Intercontinental Life Ghana and later as an Agent with Prudential Life Insurance. Currently, Baba Adam serves as Manager of the Sixth African Region Initiatives and heads the Nuriya Arabic Islamic School. He is skilled in financial data analysis, team collaboration, and cross-departmental communication to develop integrated business solutions. Baba Adam is fluent in English and Arabic and conversant in several Ghanaian languages.
