SEEP is SARI’s enterprise development initiative that equips young women and youth in Ghana and across Africa with the skills, tools, and support to participate in the tourism and cultural economy.

The program strengthens tourism-linked micro and small enterprises across cultural heritage, creative industries, agritourism, hospitality services, and sustainable local production, especially in rural and peri-urban communities.

SEEP provides entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, and business incubation support, while connecting participants to tourism value chains, market access opportunities, and strategic partners.

The goal is to build a pipeline of resilient, youth- and women-led enterprises that contribute directly to sustainable tourism growth, local job creation, and inclusive economic development.

Objectives

  • To develop youth and women-led enterprises within the tourism and cultural value chain.

  • To strengthen entrepreneurship and financial literacy for sustainable tourism-linked businesses.

  • To improve market access, incubation, and scaling opportunities for micro and small tourism enterprises.

  • To promote inclusive economic participation through tourism-driven enterprise development in underserved communities.
